With over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, I am a group travel specialist who looks forward to taking the time and frustration out of planning your next vacation. The logistics of group travel can be overwhelming for those who don’t plan this type of vacation everyday. That is why it is so important to work with a travel agent. Not only can I help take the hassle out of your trip, I can help pick the perfect cruise ship or resort for your needs and negotiate group discounts. This is especially important when planning a destination wedding. Having coordinated travel plans for weddings in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and even a surprise wedding in Ireland, I am experienced and can help guide you through the process of planning your destination wedding. By using a travel agent, I can help a group see what kind of specials are available, make sure the resort is the right fit for your needs and help save you money! Picking a destination to travel to can be hard with so many amazing options to choose from. I recently came back from beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica. While I was there I toured many all inclusive resorts that would be ideal for a honeymoon, a destination wedding, or a fun winter vacation with friends! The people of Jamaica are so fun and happy to give you great service. Also, this year, I traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and met with sales managers and conducted site inspections at several resorts. I highly recommend all inclusive resorts for a family or group getaway. The amenities are endless and make for a worry free vacation. My love of travel spans a lifetime of experiences. What began by reading my mother’s National Geographic magazines has evolved into a career infused with travel in every aspect. For 16 years I worked as a flight attendant, taking full advantage of having the opportunity to explore places I may never have been otherwise. This led to the creation of Group Trip Designers, an agency focused on the travel needs of its clients. I also spent over five years working as an instructor at The Travel Academy in Eagan, MN where I had the honor to share my passion with those just starting their careers. My last trip was to Montego Bay, Jamaica and my next trip is with a group of 26 people going on an Alaskan cruise with Princess Cruise Lines.

Sandals Montego Bay Overwater Wedding Chapel
This past April, my friend, and her daughter, and I traveled to Montego Bay, Jamaica and stayed at the RIU Palace Jamaica, an adults only, all inclusive resort. While in Montego Bay, I visited with sales managers and did site inspections at 11 resorts. The beauty of Jamaica is not only the Caribbean Sea and the landscape but certainly the warm and friendly Jamaican people. I highly recommend using the Club MoBay arrival and departure airport services. The Club MoBay representatives will meet you soon after you deplane and guide you and fast track you through the customs and immigration lines and lead you straight to the Club MoBay arrival lounge where cold towels, beverages and snacks are available while you wait your ride. Resorts in the Montego Bay area make an excellent choice both for people that have a full week but especially desirable for those of you that are taking a shorter four or five night vacation. You can exit the airport and be at many Montego Bay area resorts in as little as a 5 minute drive. The Negril and Ochos Rios area are also lovely, but plan on a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from the Montego Bay airport. Are you looking for an adults only resort? Jamaica has many excellent choices for adults only, all inclusive resorts. I toured two Sandals resorts, two Secrets resorts, two RIU resorts and one Breathless resort that are all adults only. I also visited the Zoetry Montego Bay resort that does allow children but caters more to adults. I also visited the family and budget friendly Sunscape Cove and Sunscape Splash resort. When I was not busy on resort site inspections I enjoyed the calm, clear, warm Caribbean waters, from our hotel beach as well as on a catamaran ride. If you are looking for great beaches, great all inclusive resort, you must seriously consider Montego Bay, Jamaica. At some resorts, you'll hear some noise from airplanes taking off, but I personally did not mind that and would take it as a trade off as for not having to spend hours in a van after an already long day of travel. Ya Man! Let me help you plan your next all inclusive vacation to Jamaica!
